Hi,
I am afraid it is not possible to run backups when the PC is shutting down. However, you can get the same effect by creating a desktop shortcut that runs an XML definition file with shutdown enabled.

1. Edit your XML definition file and select "Advanced Options" at the bottom of the summary dialog.
2. Select the Shutdown option in the list
3. Check the "Enable Power Saving" check box and ensure that "Shutdown the computer when a backup task has completed" is selected.
4. Click OK and then continue to finish saving your XML file.
5. Select the XML file in the Backup Definitions tab, right click and select "Create a Desktop Shortcut".

This will create a desktop shortcut that you can rename to Shutdown. Instead of clicking the Start menu and then shutdown, simply double click the XML file. It will run the backup for you and then shutdown your PC automatically.

Kind regards
