Cannot restore backup

Hello,

I am trying to restore the C drive, I'm following the steps in http://kb.macrium.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50079.aspx, but my notebook is not starting restoration automatically as shown in this link.
Anyway, it opens the Windows PE evironment, I can select the image file (which is located in the external drive), I click on "Restore Image" and:

- As Source, it appears the image file (although the external drive appears as C:\)
- For Destination, I have this "select a disk to restore to..." link. When I click, it is shown only the external drive, like my notebook hard drive was not there.

I tried to search in the forum but I couldn't find the answer. How do I restore the C: partition? Why the restoration is not starting as shown in the official topic? Why can't I find the computer's hard drive to select it as destination?
