Hi maybe these links will help. I think this is more of a Windows quirk than anything to do with Macrium Reflect

On XP I was able to put a blank DVD into the drive for a scheduled backup. Now since upgrading to Win 7 it always asks when it looks for the DVD at schedule time if I want to format the DVD.
How does one skip the query for Formatting on Win 7? I normally would rather not be around for this silly question, yes you nit - of course I want to format this blank DVD! What do you think I bought it for, Frisbee practice??? Coaster for my afternoon tea? I think not, BURN BABY BURN it![:p]
Thanks. The answer could be buried on page 96 of this Forum, please excuse me for not spending twelve hours to hunt for it. Just a checkbox somewhere in the GUI would be fine.....[:o)]
