Offline Functionality & Screen Saver

Hi there, this is my first post so please understand.

I have two request for the use of Macrium reflect.

The first one I wish to make is: better offline activation scheme

I spoke to a support rep about this and he was quite polite and helpful but I wish to talk about it here as well.

I understand the need for protection from piracy but I find the current DRM system to be a bit of an inconvenience.

I would very much wish for full offline functionality without having to go through the process of verifying through Macrium servers.

One program I can think of that use a none intrusive DRM is ATNsoft key manager.

In order to get it working you have to enter you name, email address and key code. Once this is done the program actives and it works. However this DRM will still function even on an offline system.

The main reasons why offline functionality is important to me (aside form the feeling of true ownership)is that I like to prepare my PC to work and function before even turning on the modem.

The DRM is also made somewhat redundant when you take into account that the Rescue ISO that you can create offers the same functionality as Macrium pro with the only acceptation that you need to boot into it.

This bring me to me send idea for this thread. Screen saver for the rescue iso

A screen saver for the iso would be a great idea for a long restore or backup. Simply turning off the monitor doesn't work because some monitors (like mine for example) won't be able to turn on again in a boot environment. I think it's a driver issue.

In short, a screen saver would do wanders I think. I hope my input was helpful. So far this program has not let me down once.
