Mixing Full and Incremental Backups

A new incrementals or differentials will always attach themselves to the latest backup set. A backup set consists of a full backup and any associated incrementals and differentials with the same Image ID. If the latest full backup has the file name A6337DBEE366FA87-00-00.mrimg then all incrementals and differentials made after this full was created will have the Image ID A6337DBEE366FA87. A new backup set will start when the next full backup runs.
