I've used the "Fix Boot Problems" feature in a WinPE5.0 Macrium Rescue CD and it worked wonderfully! It fixed my Win8.1 notebook which could not boot any longer.
I have a question though. At the end of the task, a pop-up message said "Creating Win7 BCD store".
