Hi,
Just purchased reflect 5 pro and went to down load as per the download instructions http://kb.macrium.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50185.aspx.
Entered licence No, unticked "run installer directly after download", checked that the D/L was 32 or 64 bits (see below), set save folder and clicked "Download".
Attempted the above on two PC: first was a Sony Vaio Win 7 32 bit and the second was a Win 8 64 bit box. Both used different AV software.
On Vaio, see a Macrium folder created and a file 5.3.7170_reflect_pro_setup_x86.exe created and downloaded. Total D/L size in download window was 187.1 MB. After D/L see the message "creating component zip" and now see pe3x86.zip created. After a short pause both files disappear. Repeated with just attempting to D/L trial version and get the same result.
On the Win 8 box the D/L is 452.6 MB. In the end the files disappear also. Repeated this with the firewall and AV disabled and the same result occurred.
Please, and ideas what causes this?
UPDATE: On Win 8 64 bit box I downloded into the C: root folder and the download was successful. Now to try same on the Sony Vaio.
Update: Sony Vaio D/L failed when I attempted to use the C: root folder. So, any ideas yet?
