Flush SSD Cache Before Imaging?

In Windows 7-64 Pro, I am using an Intel SSD (64GB) as a cache to maximize the performance of the primary 1TB hard drive. The SSD is used in Maximize Performance mode and unlike the Enhanced Mode, does not mirror the cache contents to the hard drive. Should I flush the SSD (essentially turning the cache OFF) before making an Image of the primary hard drive? Thanks.
