I have installed a Win 7:, then I created two accounts. After that, I made the image. Next, I have renamed the accounts existing and added new, removed old. After that, I have made a differential image. Then, also I have changed the accounts. When opening the image backup via Macrium installed on an admin user account, I found this error.
Besides, while I am on a Windows 7, I have also faced the same error when I tried exploring an image or file backup created while using Windows XP
But I think what I have said above didn't justify that I should have faced this error.

Also, if you're trying to do anything with a mounted image (such as changing ownership options) which requires write access, you'll have to enable that option when you mount the image as well. Keep in mind that any written changes to a mounted image file will be discarded when the image is unmounted.
