I purchased a 4 pack of Macrium Reflect Pro and have it running fine on 2 computers so far. My goal is to do daily image backups to a Synology 1513+ NAS on each machine in my home. I was already doing daily backups to an old Windows Home Server NAS but I am trying to move to a more modern supported solution overall.
I then installed Macrium Reflect on a 3rd computer and the backup is too slow to complete. Read speed 1.1 Gb/s Write 2.9 Mb/s when I finally abort it. Usually it is saying it will take 56 hours to complete. There is about 45 GB of data to back up.
It is the same destination NAS, the same local OS (Windows 8.1), and the same full Image backup attempted as the other 2 machines. The main difference is that the 3rd computer is connected to the network on Wifi while the other 2 are wired. I expect it to be slower on Wifi, but not this slow. The backup speed starts off around 120 Mb/s and then degrades within a couple of minutes to the 1-2 range.
The WiFi connection is stable and this computer was being backed up nightly to the old Windows Home Server across the same WiFi network.
Any suggestions how I can solve this?
