I have a windows 8.1 machine with several of the new Windows Storage Spaces defined.
It appears that a Storage Space in the OS maps to a single drive.
Macrium Reflect shows a different interpretation. Each Storage Space is represented by a drive with two partitions.
The first partition is always an unformatted primary partition which contains 128.0 MB. This partition is unassigned.
The second partition is always a GPT formatted primary partition , assigned a drive letter, and contains the remainder of the Storage Space's total space.
If I want to restore a Storage Space, do I need to image both partitions?
Is there a document which describes how to restore a Storage Space? I mean, would your create an empty Storage Space with the same parameters as the one you are trying to restore?
