I would probably start by going to the backup tab -> Backup Definition Files sub-tab and seeing if the XML file you're using is listed there. If it is, I'd right click and choose edit. I'd ensure all the options in the windows following are correct.
Next thing I'd do is try to open up the XML file directly in an editor of some sort and look through it to see if anything was obviously amiss.
Next thing I'd do is try to add the XML file to the list in Reflect anew by clicking the big green circle with the plus in it.
Last thing I would do is create a new XML file from within Macrium, at least for testing purposes, and see if that fixes the problem.
